I wasn't planning on uploading this picture. I have another version of it I've been working on that I plan to upload when it's finished, but I kinda liked how this one came out, so I decided that if the time came when I didn't want both up, I could just add this one to scraps.
I was inspired to draw Jim after seeing some of the fantastic Treasure Planet fanart on dA. I hadn't drawn anything Disney in ages! Which is sad because I love pretty much all the animated movies I grew up with, starting with Oliver and Co. all the way to this one. It was good to get this one out - even if my backgrounds still need major help, lol! Always good to practice, right? ^_~ But I wanted a lighter bg, so instead of space, I put Mr. Hawkins back where his character originally came from. I couldn't come up with anything more clever. Hopefully the next version will be an improvement. ^_^ Treasure Planet (c) Disney Drawn with pencil. |
