Let me say this up front: I don't generally like sitcoms. Never liked Seinfeld, Friends, or any other I've had the misfortune to see. The main reason? There are always characters that grate on my nerves so badly, I just want to chuck my TV out the window. And as with HIMYM, the commercials end up making the shows look really dumb. But after watching Dr. Horrible, I remembered I had randomly caught an episode of it (Do I Know You?, season 4, ep 1) that I actually liked, and seeing how great Neil was in Dr. Horrible, I decided to give it a chance.

I was lucky that was the episode I happened to see, because even though I really liked the first season, the second season more often than not left me feeling slightly bored or annoyed. But I knew come season 4 I'd finally see development of the story I liked so much - Barney and Robin. When I finally got there, I wasn't disappointed, and now I can't get enough of it.

Makes me think that maybe if I started at the beginning, I wouldn't hate all sitcoms so much (honestly, there are random episodes in HIMYM that seen alone would have convinced me that I'd hate it, too). But then I remember those annoying characters and how somehow HIMYM doesn't have any. "Miracle!"

...and now that I've used this space to ramble, I'll end saying that it was fun drawing two people, and surprisingly a lot easier than just one. More great Barney/Robin moments to draw would be fantastic. ^_~
