and I are back from Ramencon! It may be a small convention, but it's a lot of fun. I actually have time to walk around and chat with people, which is quite nice for a change (normally I'm chained to my AA table, lol). I'd like to give a few shoutouts to some other wonderful artists you should check out:
Involute Studio and Eily Dwyer Stuio on Facebook - Art traded with both these fine folks. They both do really great work, and you should be sure to check them out!
- So nice to see you gals again! Thanks for keeping me company while I tablesat and helping me with Pokemon evolutionary lines, haha.
becosyouplay on Facebook - These two gentlemen kept us entertained all weekend. And while I did buy a Settlers of Catan mug for my sis who couldn't make it, I may just have to get two more for my brother and dad (or else it may not make it to my sister's house).
- You ladies seriously saved my weekend! Our glue gun completely died mid-Friday, and no glue gun means no sales. Luckily for us, there was an empty table right next to Studio Kitsune, who not only had electricity but also had an extra glue gun that they let us borrow until we could replace our broken one. I was a panicked mess (though apparently I didn't look as bad as I felt, lol), but I was able to make it through thanks to their kindness. <3
- Ahhhh, I know I say this every time, but I'm so happy we met again so many years later and decided to start going to cons together! <3 I have so much fun hanging out with you, and I can never understand how you put up with me for a whole weekend! XD Thank you so much, and I can't wait for you to join my sis and I cosplaying next year! ^_~
I seriously had a great time this past weekend, and thank you so much to everyone that stopped by and either bought something or just said hi! It was great to see you all, and I hope to see you at cons in the future! None are currently scheduled, but we'll be trying for Anime Central again next year, so hopefully we'll see you there. ^_^
I'll be taking a short break from pins to work on Halloween costumes, but you can be sure that more pin photos will be coming in the following months. Got some fun, new characters at Ramencon (seen here: gwydionae.tumblr.com/post/6208… ), and I finally passed the 600 mark - I now have, I believe, 601 different character patterns. My sis' plan for ACen? Have one of each on display. XD We'll see...
